SaskPower is seeking one proponent to provide environmental monitoring Services for the construction of the Tantallon to Manitoba Border 230 kilovolt (kV) transmission line project. SaskPower will be constructing the new 230 kV transmission line from the Tantallon switching station (SW03-19-32-W1M), north of the Village of Tantallon, Saskatchewan to the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border (SE01 Twp18 Rg30 W1M), southeast of Welby, Saskatchewan. The total estimated length of the new transmission line will be approximately 30 km. Construction is scheduled to start in the beginning of November 2018 and concluding by end of March 2020. Please note that there are currently two construction seasons planned for this project (2018/2019 and 2019/2020).
