2019-006 - RFP Summary for the Development of Wind Energy Generation for Saint John Energy

Saint John Energy is seeking submissions (“Proposals”) from qualified entities (“Developers” or “Proponents”) to develop between 20 MW and 40 MW of wind energy generation at a pre-defined site within the municipal boundaries of the City of Saint John (the “Project”). The Project will be compliant with Saint John Energy’s Embedded Generation Policy. The Proposals will contain the Developers’ submission to develop and own the Project and will provide pricing for a power purchase agreement (“PPA”) between the successful Developer and Saint John Energy.

Qualified Proponents that are interested in participating may register with Saint John Energy’s Supply and Services Department by emailing supplyandservices@sjenergy.com. Once an email is received by Saint John Energy and the Proponent is deemed to be a qualified wind energy project developer, the Proponent will be added to the bidder list for tracking purposes and then more detail related to the Request for Proposal package will be shared.
