The Regional District of Central Kootenay (“RDCK”) is seeking to establish a list of qualified, specialized Skate Park Construction Contractors to be invited to bid on the Creston Skate Park project for construction and completion by June 30, 2019.
The work will be at the following location:
Creston & District Community Complex Skate Park
312 19th Avenue North, Creston, BC
The purpose of this RFQ is to short-list up to three (3) qualified Respondents who will be placed on a Qualified Contractor List and invited to bid on the Creston Skate Park project once the detailed design is completed in the late spring of 2018.
The RDCK is seeking Respondents that have constructed a minimum of 5 skate parks in Canada within the last 5 years of a similar size and complexity. A conceptual plan of the proposed skate park is attached as Appendix B. Preference will be given to Respondents with experience working in the Kootenays or other similar, remote locations. Respondents must have bonding capacity of $1 million as verified through a recognized surety company licensed to undertake business in the Province of British Columbia.
There is no guarantee of any work as a result of submitting to the process contemplated by this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), even if the Respondent is added to the Qualified Contractor List.
