This RFQ is an invitation to submit offers for the supply and delivery of chemicals and consumables for the School of Arts and Sciences at RDC, on an “as required” basis. The products are required for delivery to RDC’s Main Campus at 100 College Boulevard in Red Deer, AB.
Respondents are to refer to Appendix B: Chemicals and Consumables Listing, which provides a listing of the chemicals and consumables that are currently purchased by the department. Appendix B consists of two (2) spreadsheet tabs which include current updated catalogue numbers, obtained from three (3) vendors who supply these chemicals and consumables. RDC requests that respondents are able to provide product with the same catalogue numbers identified, or product(s) with compatible specifications, as RDC has found that alternate products do not have the required specification for use in the RDC Science labs. If the catalogue number in the attached list is blank for a specific vendor, it has been determined that this vendor does not have a product with the required specification needed for utilization within RDC’s labs. Respondents must quote the exact unit size, as larger sizes may equate to waste due expiration dates associated with a specific product.
RDC does not warrant or guarantee that all the products listed will be purchased during the term of the Agreement. The chemicals and consumables required by the department will vary based on the needs of the department, and other departments to whom the School of Arts and Sciences provide lab services.
Proposals received will be evaluated via a three stage method in which the highest ranking proponent will be invited to enter negotiations with RDC
