This RFP is an invitation to submit offers from qualified, experienced and licensed proponents to provide Pest Management Services for various RDC Campus locations, inclusive of Residence Buildings. The successful proponent will be expected to provide Pest Management Services in accordance with all applicable city, municipal, provincial and federal regulatory bodies and with established best practices for a post-secondary/residential environment, incorporating techniques recommended by Pest Control Products Act (PCPA), administered by Health Canada, Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).
The services will be required for six main areas in and around the campus premises within Red Deer, AB which will include, but limited to:
- RDC Main Campus, and supporting grounds at 100 College Boulevard;
- RDC Electrical Substation at 100 College Boulevard;
- Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre/ Centre des Jeux du Canada Gary W Harris (“Canada Games Centre”) at 120 College Circle;
- Existing Residences, at 100 College Boulevard;
- New Residence, at 109 College Circle; and
- Welikoklad Event Centre at 4922 49th Street, Red Deer, AB
Note: As the Campus facilities expand throughout the duration of the contract, additional areas/locations may require services under this contract and may be added by way of Addendum.
There will be a mandatory site visit scheduled for December 5th, 2018 at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Proponents intending to be present are requested to complete Appendix B: Site Visit, two (2) business days prior to the site visit.
Proposals received will be evaluated via a three stage method in which the highest ranked proponent will be invited to enter into negotiations with RDC.
