This RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the provision of Consulting Services for food services at Red Deer Polytechnic. The invitation shall be open for those proponents that can provide evidence that they are:
1. Registered corporate entities providing food industry consulting services.
2. Not in the principal business of providing food services and food service equipment or operating food service, food processing, retail or eating establishment.
3. Have no less than five (5) years’ experience in performing consulting services in the food service industry.
4. Have the capacity to carry out the project in a timely fashion.
5. Able to provide credentials that support experience within the industry.
Red Deer Polytechnic requires a consultant to conduct market research, consultations with stakeholders and analysis of the current and historic data and to propose a food service concept that will meet the needs of our clients – students, staff and visitors, taking into account new industry trends and those factors that are specific to our organization, including but not limited to the location, existing food service spaces, student enrollment numbers and other relevant information. It is expected that the review will lead to the food service concept development, plan and strategy for implementation and summary of potential financial impacts associated with the recommended changes.
It is anticipated that the selected proponent may be further engaged in preparation and evaluation of any future RFP documents required for implementation of the proposed and accepted concepts. This shall be presented as an optional service as it may or may not be exercised with the main scope of work.
