Description

This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by Red Deer College (“RDC” or “College”) to explore accommodation models that would be suitable to meet the current and future needs of RDC. Respondents are requested to outline a concept for designing, building, financing and operating a non-traditional residence that would meet short and medium-term housing needs. As a result of our continued growth and expansion, there is an opportunity for a developer to create a free market facility that the College would have access to for usage. This includes certificate/diploma/degree students, apprentices, market driven training participants, continuing education, training camps, tournaments, visiting professors and guest speakers, and community-based guest accommodation. Developers have the ability, within the concept, to explore the opportunities of retail that are complimentary ventures to the needs of RDC’s campus community.
