T-MCC-2409 - Supply of Propane and Equipment

The Municipality is looking for propane vendors to provide the following items that will be built into the price of propane:

a) Propane tank(s) and concrete slab or pads, depending on tank size(s) to be located on the grass lot adjacent to the boiler room.
b) Tank size(s) are to be selected to ensure a reliable gas supply to the building during adverse weather.
c) Vaporization is to be obtained without the use of a vaporizer.
d) Bollards as required to provide mechanical protection.
e) Underground gas line from the tank(s) to the side of the building. Trenching and re-instatement of asphalt to be included
f) Gas line riser at building with shut-off and regulator, if required.
g) Bollards to protect gas riser
h) Gas load will be two boilers fired at 399mbh, total of 798mbh.

The Municipality will enter into a nominal 5-year contract with the vendor. The price of gas is to be based on the Sarnia rack price plus an appropriate mark-up.
