File # PHSA 12540 NOI Title: Patient Air Ambulance Services – Temporary Dedicated FW Provincial Health Services Authority Notice is hereby given that BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), supported by the Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”) herein, intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Temporary Dedicated Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Services for a term of 6 months commencing Nov 1, 2024 to Apr 30, 2025 at an estimated value of $2,977,360.

BCEHS has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:

• the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:

To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.

Rationale To ensure the continued supply of these essential services to the BCEHS with stable pricing, we will direct award the above extension until BCEHS completes an assessment of requirements for future dedicated Fixed Wing Aircraft.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Michael Schenkers, by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, Oct 3, 2024.
