Description

The Village of Kaslo is interested in developing the lands known as South Kaslo in accordance with the objectives of its Official Community Plan. To enable development, the Village requires a Plan that provides detail and direction for extending services to the subject lands, guidance on any amendments to the Official Community Plan, and development phasing that is logical and economical. It must include analysis of public and private investment models to guide Village decision-making. The Plan will serve as a marketing tool on the Village website, and will be shared with prospective developers, builders, and realtors. Key elements may include: ▪ Background Research and Planning (policy and bylaws) ▪ Stakeholder Consultation ▪ Public Engagement ▪ Transportation Planning ▪ Infrastructure Servicing ▪ Development Plan Design (CAD drawings and mapping) ▪ Conceptual Modeling ▪ Presentation to Council
