Description

The Municipality is seeking the services of a qualified auditor to carry out examinations of the records and financial statements of the Municipality. Proposals are invited from Chartered Professional Accountants who are licensed under the Public Accountancy Act, have significant experience in providing audit services to Ontario municipalities, and are qualified within the conditions outlined in section 296 of the Municipal Act. It is the intent of the Municipality to enter into a three year agreement (2024-2026) with a qualified auditor that can demonstrate through the Request for Proposal process, their municipal expertise, accounting credentials and their solid reputation in the area of municipal audits.
