The Southeast Regional Service Commission "Commission" is looking to engage the services of a qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable Tourism Industry Consultant / Consulting Firm / Specialist to produce a comprehensive Southeast Region - Regional Tourism Opportunity Development Analysis and Strategy.

The Regional Tourism Opportunity Development Analysis and Strategy will guide the Commission, municipal and tourism partners with the following:

Assess market readiness and evaluate existing and new opportunities across the full range of 4-season visitor options, involving all levels of government and industry. This may include helping in preserving or improving existing assets, expanding signature attractions, or catalyzing alliances to attract and/or promote major sporting events, festivals, entertainment attractions, meetings and/or conventions.

Incorporating Tourism New Brunswick's priority of Cultural Festivals / Events
Strategy in the strategy for the region.

Incorporating Tourism New Brunswick's priority of Sports / Recreation Strategy
in the strategy for the region.

Progressing on the development of shared regional opportunities (major holidays, upcoming large sports and entertainment events) and shared regional infrastructure (trails).

Identifying what can be done to extend the season for attractions and amenities (opening 365 days per years) to attract new visitors.

Creating a framework for collaboration and partnerships (regional collaboration, cooperation, catalyze on alliances, advocacy).
