202015 - Incontinence - Tabbed Briefs

Notice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority, Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, Providence Health authority, Vancouver Coastal Authority, Island Health Authority (the “Health Authority(s)”), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a contract to the following supplier to provide Incontinence - Tabbed Briefs for a term of one year and one (1) option year at an estimated value of   $14,558,566.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority(s) has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:

To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.

PHSA on behalf of all six (6) health authorities is entering into a contract with the above supplier to ensure uninterrupted supplies of tabbed briefs to ensure compatibility of existing goods for a term of November 01, 2024, to September 2025, plus one (1) option year, or until PHSA Procurement completes the upcoming competitive process.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Viktoriia Ovchynnikova, Category Buyer– PHSA Procurement by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time,  July 29, 2024. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
