Description

This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is an invitation by Red Deer Polytechnic (“RDP”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of full preventative maintenance and site support services for the Combined Heat & Power (CHP) Unit on RDP Campus. The objective is to ensure the efficient operation, longevity, and reliability of the CHP Unit while minimizing downtime and maximizing energy production.

It is RDP’s intention to enter into the Form of Agreement as in Appendix A to this RFP with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years with an option in favour of RDP to extend the agreement on the same or similar terms and conditions for an additional two (2) year term. It is anticipated that the agreement will commence on August 20, 2024.

Mandatory Requirement: Respondents who do not comply with the following mandatory criteria will be disqualified without further consideration given. Each proposal MUST include completion of the:
Submission Form (Attachment #3), completed and signed by an authorized representative of the respondent.
