120424 - Request for Qualified Health & Wellness Solution Providers

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking health and wellness solutions for our employer group members that provides prevention and early intervention solutions to support mental health, chronic disease management, chronic disease prevention (lifestyle) and early disability intervention.
The solution should:
- support and enable Alberta Blue Cross members and their dependents or caregivers to access trusted, effective solutions that supports their personal health and wellness goals.
- support the different phases of the health spectrum, with particular emphasis on prevention and early intervention solutions.
- offer end-to-end human-centric solutions that delivers best in class experiences to achieve desired member health and wellness outcomes.
Alberta Blue Cross will promote the selected solutions to members. Members would then pay for the solution. The cost may be an out-of-pocket expense for the member, or they may seek reimbursement for coverage through their core benefits coverage, or via their health, or wellness spending accounts.

1. The solution must address at minimum one (1) of the following focus areas:

a) Mental health – solutions addressing an individual’s mental health
b) Chronic disease management – solutions supporting individuals living with a chronic disease to better manage their condition.
c) Chronic disease prevention (lifestyle) – solutions supporting healthy lifestyle choices and/or behaviour changes to prevent chronic diseases.
d) Early disability intervention – solutions providing early intervention focused solutions supporting individuals with injury/disease management to enable them to stay at work and prevent progression into workplace disability absences.
