Description

Notice is hereby given by the City of Coquitlam (“City”) of its intent to single source Soil Hauling, Testing and Disposal to Milestone Environmental Contracting Inc.: The City of Coquitlam has chosen not to call for vendor proposals for the following reason:

1. Proximity of existing fill site to the City’s operations
2. Ability of contractor to provide the full range of services required, including, but not limited to:
  i. Testing soil and debris for contaminants;
  ii. Hauling and disposal of any soil with contaminants to a licensed facility
  iii. Use of any non-contaminated structural fill

Vendors who feel they are able to provide the full scope of services within the boundaries of the Tri-Cities region should contact the City. The City of Coquitlam intends to award a contract in the amount of approximately four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) CAD per year
