The City of Kelowna has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process due to the seamless compatibility of the chosen equipment with previously purchased systems. This ensures a coherent and well-integrated wildfire protection strategy. This compatibility also meets stringent technical requirements, emphasizing interchangeability and interoperability, while complying with the current BC Wildfire Services and Provincial Interagency Agreement.
