Description

The Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services Branch (AFFES) is seeking experienced custom built 53’ fifth wheel tractor trailer fabricators to construct two (2) high quality, rapid deployment, mobile kitchen support trailer units durable enough to operate for a 25-year lifespan and primarily on non-maintained gravel access roads.
Scope of Work
The Aviation and Forest Fire Emergency Services Branch utilizes mobile support infrastructure in support of forest fire fighting activities in basecamps, in remote locations across Ontario.
The custom built 53’ fifth wheel kitchen support trailer units must be new and built to meet or exceed the specifications set out in Appendix A and must conform to the conceptual drawings included in Appendix B.
The Ministry plans to procure a total of two (2) custom built 53’ fifth wheel kitchen support trailer units also referred to as “Trailer(s)” or “Unit(s)” throughout the RFB.
Delivery Dates:
Trailers must be delivered to Dryden, Ontario by February 15, 2025 (“Delivery Date”).
