Description

The proposed contract requires the provision of conifer release (brushing) of approximately 10.02 hectares and Establishment Brushing of approximately 46.35 hectares. All blocks are surrounding Terrace, British Columbia; and accessible by vehicle.

The purpose of this services contract is to manually brush blocks to reach the required free growing standards and ensure crop establishment of newly planted and/or younger natural trees can establish on the site (see associated maps).

The slope range across all blocks does not exceed 25% with even to rolling terrain.

All forestry and non-forestry related activities that include or have the potential to include hand falling, requires the Contractor to designate a Falling Supervisor. Bidders should refer to the Safety Conditions Schedule attached to the Agreement and bid accordingly.
