Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Service Authority (the “Health Authority”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier for the supply of a Genomics-specific Practice Tool for BC Women’s Hospital for a term of six (6) year at an estimated value of $1,245,078.00.

Rationale
PhenoTips is a Clinical application or software used to facilitate the work of medical genetics and genomics department. It can store complex and comprehensive family histories, clinical data on the patient and results of complex genetics and genomics testing in a searchable format. This tool would be embedded in CST Cerner supporting the establishment of a provincial genomic care stream and utilize available genome data.
PhenoTips is the only solution in the market that can support with:
1) Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) data mining i.e. backed deep phenotyping with error-tolerant predictive search
2) NLP Functionality
This tool would be embedded in CST Cerner supporting the establishment of a provincial genomic care stream and utilize available genome data.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Yidan Song, IMIT Buyer, by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, October 06, 2023 PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
