NRFP-CPD-24-008.00 - Child Care Operator

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (‘Legislative Assembly’) is seeking an Operator to create and offer a high-quality licensed child care program for 12 children under 36 months, and 25 children 30 months to school age, for a total capacity of 37 children. The Operator should be interested in working closing with the Legislative Assembly and have a vested interest in the future development and enrichment of the Victoria community.

A mandatory Proponents’ meeting will be held to allow Proponents to ask questions. Only Proponents that have signed a Confidentiality Agreement will be permitted to attend the meeting. Proposals will only be accepted from those Proponents that attend the mandatory Proponents meeting. Proponents who have registered their intent to attend the proponents meeting will be sent a Confidentiality Agreement that must be signed before the meeting. After signing the Confidentiality Agreement, Proponents will be sent an Attendance Form with further details on the time and location of the meeting. Proponents must register all participants who intend to attend the meeting and submit in advance a completed Attendance Form to Capital.Planning@leg.bc.ca. Order of Information Exchange: 1. Proponents to register all participants who intend to attend the Mandatory Proponents Meeting by sending a completed Registration Form (Appendix E) to Capital.Planning@leg.bc.ca, by September 5, 2023. 2. Legislative Assembly to send Proponents the Confidentiality Agreement. 3. Proponents to submit the Confidentiality Agreement(s) back signed, by September 6, 2023. 4. *Legislative Assembly to send Proponents notice of the date, time and location of the Mandatory Proponents Meeting after receiving the Confidentiality Agreement back signed. *The Legislative Assembly anticipates that the Mandatory Proponents Meeting will be held September 7; exact time to be shared with registered proponents but will be between 8:00 am PDT and 4:00 pm PDT. Proponents are responsible for completing their portion of the information exchange listed above in time to be included in the Mandatory Proponents Meeting.
