PS-72-2023-01-05 - Bike & Skate Park Design-Build

The Owner invites tenders for design and construction of the work, which in general terms, will consist of the following:
• site evaluation, including utility first-call and second-call investigations;
• public and stakeholder engagement;
• coordination with the broader McArthur Park Redevelopment project;
• detailed design of a skate park and a bike skills park / pump track, including conceptual (two submissions) and detailed design (two submissions) drawings; and
• construction of proposed amenities.

Surface materials for bike park and skate park to be well graded, compactable, and compatible with existing soil structure or paved surfaces, maintainable design shapes and materials suitable for Northern Alberta, remains cohesive in wet and dry weather conditions and withstands heavy bicycle, skateboard, rollerblade and scooter use.
