Description

The Town of Hanover (Town) is inviting proposals from Proponents for the operation of the P & H Centre Concession Booth, located at 269 7th Avenue, Hanover, Ontario. This opportunity may be of interest to service clubs, individuals, local sport groups, private businesses, and not for profit organizations.

Working closely with Town staff, the concession operator will provide all the services to operate the concession booth, including but not limited to:

− Supplying and preparing food;
− Provision of staff including but not limited to hiring, training and supervision;
− Cleaning the concession booth and equipment;
− Inventory control;
− Reporting maintenance issues to the Manager of Parks and Recreation Facilities or designate;
− Abiding by any current concession equipment or product agreement terms that are in place with the Town for the P & H Centre; and
− Following applicable standards and legislation (i.e. safe food handling).

The Town owned equipment in the concession booth will be available to the concession operator. However, any equipment that is leased or under a service contract is at the concession operator’s discretion to continue upon any service agreement expiration. The 2023 – 2024 ice season begins September 6, 2023. It is anticipated by October 1, 2023, all ice groups will be using their regularly weekly ice times.

A site meeting will occur on Friday July 14, 2023 at 10:00am at 269 7 th Avenue, Hanover, Ontario, for interested organizations, businesses or individuals who wish to view the concession space and equipment.
