BULK OILS AND LUBRICANTS FOR VALCARTIER SUPPORT BASE

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Bids must be submitted by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) for The Department of National Defence is issuing this Request for standing offer (RFSO) for the procurement of various bulk petroleum products, including motor oil and transmission oil to maintain DND’s fleet of commercial and military vehicles, for Valcartier Support Base, Quebec.

Period of service:

A standing offer will be issued for the delivery of an estimated quantity of 67,000 litres of oils and lubricants per year, for a two-year firm period, from the date of contract award to March 31, 2024, with the possibility of one (1) optional period of one (1) year.

Delivery location:

This requirement is for the Department of National Defence (DND), Petroleum, oils and lubricants (POL) section, of 5 Canadian Service Battalion, Valcartier Support Base, Quebec.

The supplier will be selected following an evaluation based on the financial criteria specified in this RFSO (see Annex A-B).
