REQUIREMENT: Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of Marine Atlantic Inc., has a requirement for a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the provision of experienced and qualified marine engine fitters, pipe fitters, welders, laborer’s, material, parts and equipment necessary to carry out maintenance and repairs to main propulsion and auxiliary machinery, piping systems, tanks and ship structure onboard Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) vessels.

Work will pertain to MAI’s current fleet of vessels, and any future vessels MAI may acquire, if applicable:

• Leif Ericson • Highlanders • Atlantic Vision • Blue Puttees

All work is to be completed in conformance with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Rules.

The area of delivery is North Sydney, Nova Scotia, B2A 3V2 and Port aux Basques, NL A0M 1C0.

PHASED BID COMPLIANCE PROCESS: The Phased Bid compliance process applies to this requirement.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The period of the Contract will be 2 years from date of award with the option of two additional periods.

Option Period 1 will be for 2 years; Option Period 2 will be for 1 year.
