POWER HOUSE BUILDING REHABILITATION
TENDER CALL 2021-015
The Municipality of Edmundston is inviting all interested Tenderers to present an offer for the power house rehabilitation works.
Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained only at the Development Department, located on the 2nd floor of Edmundston City Hall, by email at plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125. The documents are provided in pdf format; if a paper copy is required, a fee of $ 150 + HST per copy will be charged.
A mandatory site visit will be held on March 18, 2021. The City representative will be present. This visit will be held on site at 1908, Chemin deuxième Sault, Saint-Joseph de Madawaska, NB. Due to the COVID-19 situation, visits will be by appointment, one company at a time.
The latest revision and amendments of the Regulation 2014-93 of the Procurement Act (O.C.2014-273), apply to this tender.
The latest revision and amendments of the Regulations of the Crown Construction Contract Act, as amended, apply to this contract (Regulation 82-109).
A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated.
Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked « POWERHOUSE BUILDING REHABILITATION, TENDER CALL 2021-018, MARCH 25, 2021», will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Development Department, 2nd floor at City Hall, 7 Canada Rd, Edmundston, NB until 2:00 p.m. (local time).
Public opening of tenders will follow immediately. Due to the COVID-19 situation, public opening of tenders will be also on Facebook live on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ville.edmundston
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
