Description

Detailed Description
The Government of Ontario communicates with Ontarians through a number of platforms and channels. This includes but is not limited to:
• Traditional and digital media;
• Ontario.ca – the government’s official website;
• Government-owned social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube) run by different government ministries and agencies; and
• Government marketing (e.g. Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, digital ads on a variety of programmatic platforms etc.)

Access to real-time media listening, analytics, and optimization services is required in order to:
• Identify and proactively prepare for emerging issues;
• Assess, analyze and evaluate media response and reactions to government programs and policies; and
• Assess, analyze and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of government communications and marketing (e.g. public health & safety campaigns such as concussion awareness)

This helps inform and improve how the government reaches, engages and serves the public.
Scope of Work
In this Request for Information (RFI), the Ministry is seeking information about platforms and tools that provide:
• Media advertising analytics;
• Enhancement and optimization of media communications and marketing / advertising
• Options for the government to effectively assess public and media response and reactions to government policies, programs, communications and marketing

To assist in informing and refining the scope, deliverables, and approach for planned/prospective procurements, the Ministry is seeking more information about the platforms and tools available to achieve its business objectives.

Respondents are encouraged to participate in this RFI by:
- Submitting a written response;
- Conducting a presentation/demonstration

Respondents may participate as they choose. Participation in this RFI is not a pre-requisite to participate in future procurements.
