Description

The objective of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to Refresh an existing multi-vendor, enterprise Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement for Translation Services for a period of the remainder of the original term (ending April 30th, 2028)
Scope of Work
The majority of English to French and French to English
translation services in the Government of Ontario are provided
enterprise Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement for Translation Services.

The type of documents requiring translation varies from reports
general or technical in nature, to correspondence, manuals, legal
agreements, questionnaires, brochures, forms, web pages, and
news releases. Some of these documents also require
proofreading.

The approximate volume of English to French translation work
performed for the Government of Ontario is 4,125,000 million
words and 2,900 hours per year, for a yearly average of nearly
3,700 assignments.
The approximate volume of French to English translation work is
about 5% of the volume of English to French translation work.

Each Bidder may submit a Bid for any of the following Service Categories where that Bidder is not an existing Vendor of Record for the Service Category:

Service Category 1: English to French Translation Services (General)
Service Category 2: French to English Translation Services,
Service Category 3: Certified Legal English to French Translation Services,
Service Category 4: Certified Legal French to English Translation Services.
Service Category 5: English to French Translation Services (Job Posting Related Translations)
