Electronic tenders, in PDF format, clearly marked as to contents, for the construction of the above project, which generally consist of the installation of approximately 1650m of new transmission watermain including approximately 24 meters of ram/jack and bore installation of a steel casing and 96 meters of trenchless installation of another steel casing, along with trench restoration with limited roadway reinstatement through placement of crushed rock materials and asphalt and all related work,

Instructions to obtain Tender Documents:

Tender submission method:
Contractors are required to submit their Tender Submission (complete bid) electronically in PDF format via e-mail at Jinette.McCormack@englobecorp.com prior to the above stated date and time. The original signed and sealed paper copy of the Tender Submission shall be mailed to the following address:

A bid bond, in the amount of 10% of the total bid (including HST) minimum, made payable to the "Moncton Industrial Development Ltd." must accompany each tender.
The "General Specifications", "Instructions to Tenderers", and "Tendering Procedures" are as contained in the City of Moncton Engineering & Environmental Services Department "Standard Municipal Specifications" as revised in 2022, unless otherwise noted.
Tender opening method:
Tenderers will have the option of attending an in-person opening or attend the opening virtually through videoconferencing (instructions to access the videoconference will be provided with the digital Tender Documents). Immediately following the close of the tendering period, the opening committee will review all submissions and prepare a summary report that will be made available to all bidders via e-mail.
The in-person tender opening will take place at the Englobe Office listed above.
No award will be made at the tender opening.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
