P24-031 - Consulting Services – Sanitary Sewer Projects

City of Prince George (the “City) is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultant firms with the appropriate team of specialists, and sub-consultants, who can demonstrate the experience required to provide pre-design, design related field investigations, and detailed design services over multiple years on a non- exclusive/as needed basis for replacing, upgrading, extending, or realignment of existing sanitary sewer infrastructure (manholes, sanitary mains) in City’s sanitary sewer network.

The Supplier will be required to provide construction-ready design packages for sanitary sewer infrastructure projects identified through prior planning projects as well as preventative replacements for aging and high-risk infrastructures. The City does not guarantee the volume and/or amount of work.

The required services under Annexes 2 and 3 may not be all-inclusive under this contract. The City may assign any task that is typical work considered to be in the area of professional expertise for sanitary sewer infrastructure projects.

The City anticipates awarding a contract as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) based on a project at 2489 Laurier Crescent. This project involves a sanitary sewer main decommissioning between MH #3076 and MH #5443 and realignment of two existing services. The intent would be to award the contract to the highest scoring proponent and pre-qualify up to a maximum of three (3) Suppliers who may be invited to submit proposals on subsequent sanitary sewer infrastructure projects. For the purpose of this RFP, the Evaluation Criteria under Section 2.6.4 will be scored by evaluating the proposal for the work required for the Laurier Cres sanitary sewer main project

The City reserves the right to issue a Request for Proposal for larger projects as its discretion.
