Description

UCalgary intends to purchase the MaxCyte ExPERT GTx™ Scalable Transfection System from Maxcyte for gene editing protocols for both gene therapy and to make CAR-T cells. UCalgary will need to be able to scale up for clinical trials, such that we can produce adequate amounts of edited cells in a single run. Additionally, it is essential that we have a machine (the GTx) that can provide the range of cells indicated as we need to be able to adapt to requirements based on patient size and required genetically edited cell dose.
