SCOPE OF WORK:
The City is seeking to retain the services of a consultant to develop a St. George Street Improvement Plan that builds on concepts and priorities for pedestrian-oriented design found in past studies and plans. The study shall produce concepts that prioritize movements by walking, cycling, and other active transportation modes and support spaces for interaction and place-making.
A key part of the project will be to develop and conduct collaborative public engagement process to capture the ideas and vision of local businesses and organizations on the street, residents in the adjacent neighborhoods, as well as the wider community.
The purpose of the RFP is to ultimately deliver a St. George Street Improvement Plan with defined concepts, installations, and design work which can be implemented, constructed, and installed in a phased approach.
