The AER is publishing three RFPs for this work. There is an RFP for actuarial consulting services, and RFP for pension administration services, and this RFP which has an expanded scope that includes outsourced investment management services to maximize governance, investment decision-making, and cost efficiency.
The AER is inviting proposals from Respondents with specialized expertise, experience, and objectivity to provide outsourced investment management services for the Registered SEPP, Non-Registered SEPP, and SRP within agreed upon parameters set out by the Management Pension Committee (MPC). The MPC has been delegated responsibilities related to pension monitoring and administration, regulatory compliance, funding determinations pursuant to established funding policies, investment allocations, and the development of investment policies. This includes monitoring the investment performance of the Pension Fund and Retirement Compensation Arrangements (RCAs).
