Description

To ensure the Province is in a constant state of preparedness regarding wildfire pre-suppression and suppression activities, the services of wildland engines and/or water tenders may be required on an as-needed basis with no guarantees of work. Engines shall be types 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 with water tenders being support types 1, 2 and 3 as well as tactical types 1 and 2.

Services may be required in any of the following forest areas:

Calgary, Rocky Mountain House, Fort McMurray, Lac La Biche, Edson, Whitecourt, Peace River, Grande Prairie, Slave Lake and High Level.

Up to 20 Contracts may be awarded with Services being requested using call-down lists in accordance with section 6.3 – Proposal Evaluation Criteria.
