PHSA 12853 - PHSA 12853 Interior Supportive Housing

PHSA BCMHSUS is seeking information, through this RFI process, from interested parties for the operation and development of an enhanced care specialized 24/7 housing program.  . This RFI is intended to gather information that could assist PHSA in the development of a direct award contract or future procurement process.

Through completion of the enclosed survey and responses to the scenario-based questionnaires interested parties are provided with an opportunity to showcase their proposed solutions and services.

This service will work to address the specific and necessary creation of 5 residential housing beds for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who require enhanced care and specialized housing services specifically located within the Interior Region of British Columbia.  

Clients will include Indigenous and non-Indigenous adult, male, female, LGBTQ2S+, and other racialized community members, who are referred by FPS and are living with complex and/or severe mental health and/or substance use issues.

The program will utilize a client-centered culturally safe and trauma-informed approach delivered through psychosocial rehabilitation. Culturally safe programming including clinical interventions are embedded within traditional knowledge systems that see the spiritual world, the natural world, and humanity as inter-related. These policies, programs and practices will be grounded in local Indigenous knowledge, traditions, teachings, ceremonies, land, and languages where appropriate. This will create conditions in which people can be mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually well.
 
Interested parties are invited to respond to this RFI by submitting a detailed response to PHSA. Responses should include ideas, information and recommendations that could result in clarification of the requirements, cost-saving opportunities and the identification of potential problem areas with this initiative. Respondents are requested to provide a concise and focused response to this RFI.
