Description

.1 Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following:

Upgrades to an existing potable water pump house including:
.1 Removal of existing chemical dosing equipment
.2 Modifications to existing small-bore PVC process piping
.3 Installation of a backboard-mounted chemical-dosing pump skid
.4 Installation of a chlorine analyzer
.5 Installation of a pressure-treated wood lab bench

Replacement of an existing potable water distribution system including installation of:
.1 Installation of approximately 0.55 km of 75 mm diameter HDPE pipe by
horizontal-directional drilling.
.2 Installation of approximately 2.21 km of 50 mm diameter HDPE pipe by
open cut methods.
.3 Reconnection of services to existing buildings.
.4 Installation of watermain appurtenances including isolation valves and
standpipe assemblies.
