OVERVIEW:
The City of Moncton wishes to retain the services of a professional, licensed, and
experienced firm to furnish all labour, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals
required to carry out monthly, semi-annual, annual and five (5) year inspections of Diesel, Propane and Natural Gas Emergency Generator systems located at various facilities owned and operated by the City of Moncton, and provide servicing and repairs to Emergency Generator systems on an "as required" basis.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Bidders shall be established firms who have been in the business of providing professional Emergency Generator inspection, repairs and servicing for a minimum of one (1) year, are financially stable, can provide a minimum of three (3) commercial client references for whom they provide similar services to that specified in the Quotation, and have sufficient labour, equipment, tools and resources to provide reliable, timely, and professional Emergency Generator Inspection and Repair Services to
the City of Moncton in the manner and capacity required.
Bids will only be considered from firms who employ Emergency Generator system technicians holding valid and current Natural Gas, Propane and Heavy Equipment licenses issued by the Province of New Brunswick.
PROPOSED CONTRACT TERM:
The proposed term of this agreement shall be for a twelve (12) month period, commencing
from the date of award. The City may exercise an option to renew each agreement for up to
four (4) additional twelve (12) month periods, if it is in the City's best interest to do
so.
GUARANTEED HOURS OF WORK / CONTRACT DOLLAR VALUE:
The estimated value of this agreement is approximately $30,000.00 per year, based on an
average of the previous four (4) calendar years (2016 to 2020), but should NOT be construed as representing a guaranteed annual contract value.
The City of Moncton does not guarantee a minimum amount of hours, nor a minimum contract
dollar value to the successful Supplier(s) in relation to the performance of this
Contract. QUOTED PRICES BASED ON MINIMU MORDER DOLLAR VALUES OR LABOUR HOURS SHALL BE
REJECTED.
