119-04/21 - NOI - Hansen Software Maintenance and Support Renewal

Notice is hereby given by the City of Burnaby of its intent to contract with Infor (Canada) Ltd. for Hansen software maintenance and support renewal for a 12 month period commencing 2021 August 01 to 2022 July 31.

The total value of the contract is $147, 216.73 including GST and PST.

The City of Burnaby did not call for competitive proposals for the following reasons:

· The vendor has specific knowledge and has demonstrated experience of the proprietary Hansen 8 software;
· Manufacturer's warranty may be void if serviced by an unapproved vendor;
· It is the City's opinion that there is currently no other vendor able to provide these services; and
· The impact of introducing a new software and support provider would affect cost as well as resources.

Companies wishing to object to this decision should EMAIL a letter of objection to Procurement, presenting specific reasons for their objection by 3:00 p.m. Pacific time, on June 17, 2021.

The required experience and resources, with proven ability to offer the same or better services in the same timeframe, are key criteria with regards to consideration of an objection.
