These skills and experience include, but are not limited to design, management, construction and maintenance of high capacity Light Rail Transit (“LRT”) projects of similar scope and size as the Trillium Line Extension Project.
The procurement process in respect of the Trillium Line Extension Project will be managed by the City, and shall conform to By-law respecting the purchasing of goods, services and construction for the City of Ottawa, By-law 50 of 2000, as amended. It is anticipated that the Applicants that are prequalified (“Prequalified Parties”) as part of this RFQ, will then be eligible to participate in the Request for Proposal (“RFP”) Process. It is further anticipated that the Prequalified Party that is ultimately successful in being awarded the work related to the Trillium Line Extension Project in the subsequent RFP Process (the “Successful Proponent”), will enter into a Project Agreement with the City.
