Description

Toronto Port Authority (“TPA”), doing business as PortsToronto (“PortsToronto”) is investigating potential suppliers of Electrical Drive system components suitable to convert one of its ferries to electric or hybrid drive. This Expression of Interest (“EOI”) to parties (each, a “Proponent”, collectively, the "Proponents") is issued to solicit proposals (each a "Proposal") that will allow PortsToronto to select Qualified Proponents with which to proceed with in a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) process that may culminate in the selection of a Successful Proponent to negotiate an agreement for Electrical Drive system components, Engineering and Implementation, such products hereinafter called the "Products".
PortsToronto is looking to partner with one or more qualified supplier(s) with demonstrated qualifications, abilities and significant experience in the provision of Electrical Drive system components, Engineering and Implementation.

Electronic copies of the Proposal must be provided to PortsToronto, signed by an authorized representative of the Proponent and sent to the PortsToronto Project Administrator
Each Proposal must identify No. 2018-220-01 on the Proposal Response; and, identify the Proponent’s name and address. Any inquiries, concerning any discrepancies, omissions or additional information should be made to the PortsToronto Project Administrator.

Any Proposal received after the Proposal Deadline, at PortsToronto’ sole discretion, may not be considered.
