The work will be completed in close proximity to an operational airfield and will includes provisions for night work and other restrictions within the construction area. Event Note

A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on June 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (“the Airport”). Participants are to meet in the island atrium, beside Gateway Newsstand for a project briefing, followed by a site tour of the existing fence. Airfield transportation will be organized by the airport. General Contractors’ representative(s) attendance is recommended but not mandatory at the meeting. General Contractors will be requested to provide to the Project Contact the names of the individuals attending the meeting and the tour ahead of time so that necessary security arrangements can be made. Valid passport or driver’s license will be required for the site tour. Safety vests are also required and other personal protection equipment (i.e., safety boots) are recommended. Bidders are limited to two representatives at the pre-bid meeting.
