Description:
York University is soliciting supplier qualification submissions from Paving and Concrete Repairs Contractors (“Contractors”) that wish to participate in future paving, interlock, concrete, and asphalt projects at York, valued up to five hundred thousand ($500,000) Canadian Dollars, excluding taxes.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Supplier Prequalification:
This RFSQ will establish a roster of up to five (5) pre-qualified Paving and Concrete Repairs Contractors to be invited to bid on subsequent RFT's.
- Criteria used to prequalify Contractors: Available within the RFSQ document.
- The prequalified Contractors will be eligible to respond to detailed bid solicitations, falling within the threshold identified above, as part of a second stage competition (“Tender”), to be conducted on an as-needed and as-required basis.
- Period of validity of the pre-qualified list: Three (3) years. Further requests for suppliers to apply for inclusion on this list will not be published.
Responses must be submitted in English.
