Description:
The Office of the President is looking for a roster of qualified special event caterers for a variety of events. The events can be hosted at any of York’s campuses as well as off-campus at high profile locations. The number of guests can vary from a minimum of 4 to 300 people. The objectives are to include:
• Provide the York community with a high-quality catering option that offers superior value, quality and consistency to enhance the image of the University’s food service offerings while responding to budgetary constraints.
• To deliver the most appropriate level of product and service quality;
• Consistently exceed customer expectations for atmosphere, quality and value by providing excellent service at reasonable prices, with courteous trained staff;
• To offer agreed upon service hours (days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays);
• To provide high end options of food services for special events;
• Obtain its own liquor license to serve/sell liquor including Special Occasion Permit; and
• Provide imaginative, high quality, cost value menu samples.

Delivery Date:
Service implemented by a tentative date of December 15, 2018.
Duration of Agreement:
The term of the Agreement shall be for thirty-six (36) months.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
Supplier Prequalification:
1. Criteria available within the tender document;
2. Only the suppliers on the prequalified list will receive further notices of procurement covered by the list;
3. The period validity of the list is thirty-six (36) months further requests for suppliers to apply for inclusion on this list will not be published.
