Description:
York University is soliciting submissions for Building Information Integration System and Analytics Prequalification from qualified Proponents that wish to participate in a future second stage competitive process.
York is looking to retain up to three (3) qualified Proponents who have successfully worked with institutions in the education or healthcare system to integrate software systems information into a common platform. Ideally the Proponent(s) have the experience and expertise to utilize extensive real-time data to provide optimization of service delivery throughout the organization. Taking this optimization to include an Artificial Intelligence and learning patterns and changes in performance, the ultimate goal is to continuously improve service and operations in the most effective means possible.
Proponents with proprietary hardware or software are discouraged for this project. York is looking for Proponents with agnostic solutions and services.
Upon establishment of the roster, the prequalified Proponents will be eligible to respond to a detailed bid solicitation, as part of a second stage competition.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Duration of Prequalified List:
The short-list roster will be in place for period of three (3) years.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
Supplier Prequalification:
- The criteria that will be used to prequalify the suppliers is available within the tender document.
- Only the suppliers on the prequalified list will receive further notices of procurement covered by the list (e.g., Stage 2).
- The period of validity of the prequalified list will be three (3) years. Further requests for suppliers to apply for inclusion on this list will not be published.
