2018-09-10 - Contract for Campus AccessibilityAudit of the Built Environment

The University of Windsor (the University) is inviting proposals from qualified Proponents to conduct an Accessibility Audit of the University of Windsor Campus Built Environment. This Accessibility Audit will be evaluated in terms of compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Ontario Building Code (OBC), Municipal Facility Accessibility Design Standards, and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The Successful Proponent will be responsible for the evaluation of up to 46 buildings (Appendix E – Campus Building List) and provide their recommendation for prioritizing the accessibility requirements within in the final Accessibility Audit Report.  The University will determine which facilities will be prioritized for renovation purposes.
