Description

The University of Waterloo issues ID cards (WatCard) to students, faculty, staff and guests of the university, and affiliated colleges. Currently the University of Waterloo issues approximately 20,000 cards on an annual basis. The WatCard is the official identification for the University community, and also provides access to many businesses and services around campus and in the great community, including meal plans, residence access, residence laundry, declining balance payment card, library card, campus-wide printing, athletics facilities, UPASS GRT transit pass.

The University of Waterloo is looking to partner with a reliable source for the supply of competitively priced, quality card stock that meets technical specifications, for use in the production of the University of Waterloo WatCard. Requirements include a composite cardstock with a magnetic stripe on back, a Mifare DesFire EV1 chip and embedded visual security feature.
