Description

The UW Biology Aquatic Lab is designed for conducting experiments that investigate immunology, physiology and toxicology of fish and other aquatic animals. Most of these studies will include over 100 animals and will investigate changes in gene expression, which will require extraction of genetic material from large numbers of samples simultaneously. A Robotic Nucleic Acid Extraction System will allow this work to happen in a rapid fashion.
