CORE is a world-renowned research facility located in the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Waterloo.  It has a rich history as a leader in the field of ocular research with a focus on research involving contact lenses, ocular surface, myopia control and drug delivery.  Its research is funded primarily through industry-sponsored collaborations and non-profit granting agencies.
The purpose of this work is to provide CORE with the guidance and resources it needs to further expand recognition of its brand, provide audiences a deeper understanding of its services, increase its share of voice versus its competitors and explore additional revenue streams.
The primary objectives are to obtain earned media coverage for CORE with top-tier and second-tier optometry, ophthalmology, vision science, and applicable research news outlets worldwide, plus select mainstream media.
