The Faculty of Environment uses its unique position as a leading teaching and research institute for the environment in order to create sustainable solutions needed to address the complex challenges facing our world. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015 set the broader context for many of these sustainable solutions. Waterloo’s outstanding entrepreneurial ecosystem provides a supportive environment for ideas and innovations to be explored, nurtured and scaled up for impact. This RFP directly relates to developing new initiatives in entrepreneurship and sustainability.
