University of Waterloo, 200 University Avenue West, Waterloo, ON, Building - Needles Hall.
The project consist of interior renovations to accommodate a New Student Service Centre, and minor renovations complete with hazardous materials and asbestos abatement.
Work includes an interior renovation of approximately 7,970 sq.ft. on the 1st. floor of Needles Hall.
The renovations will include asbestos abatement, new ceilings, flooring, millwork,
Interior finishes, mechanical, electrical and minor structural work.
Work is identified as Consultant Project No. 2017-0057-10 and University Project No. 39338.
Anticipated Substantial completion date is Oct. 1, 2018.

General Contractors are invited to bid provided they demonstrate that they
are currently on a Vendor of Record list for any Post-secondary Education
Institution or Publicly Funded School Board for projects up to $2.0M in
construction value (excl HST). General contractors shall provide a completed CCDC 11 –2016 form listing a minimum of three projects with similar complexity and scope. Bidders shall provide a
WSIB CAD 7 certificate indicating injury statistics for the last 5 years.
References and Health and Safety Program details will be requested from
the shortlisted bidders.
